This 5-day trip is all about discovering the vineyards from the Beaujolais region. We learn from passionate winemakers and taste the most beautiful Beaujolais wines.
But most important, this is a trip of fun, good food and good wine.
All the details of the wine experience are on this page but also take just one minute to look at this impression of the very first wineweek. You will get a good idea of what it is all about.
You decide when you want to take on this Beaujolais experience. Between november and april you can book this experience at Domaine Lachat.

Beaujolais Wine Experience
Itinerary
This itinerary is meant to give you an idea about what this week will look like. We will adapt all the activities based on your desires!
Day 1
You will be welcomed at Domaine Lachat with a glass of wine and the famous apéro dinertoire. We will cheers to a fantastic week.
Don’t worry about the next morning, we will serve a delicious breakfast at your doorstep to start the day of fresh.
Day 2
It’s time to discover Domaine Lachat. We stroll through the vineyards and dive into the wine cellar.
In the afternoon, we will depart for the first field trip and visit a beautiful wine chateau. Here you will discover that Beaujolais wines are not only to drink immediately but rather, age very well.
Day 3
After breakfast you have the choice to either visit another wine domain, take a beautiful hike or just relax for a moment.
In the afternoon we will meet at Domaine Lachat again for a special tasting of all the Beaujolais Cru's.
Day 4
We are going to enjoy a delicious 4-course lunch at one of the best restaurants in the Beaujolais.
The sommelier will choose some great wine parings for us. This restaurants is our personal favourite.
We will end the day with a super fun quiz night!
Day 5
Already the last day of the Beaujolais Wine Experience. After breakfast we will say our goodbye’s, but we won’t let you leave empty handed!

No, you can but it is absolutely not mandatory. The winemakers receive compensation for their time and effort and are not dependent on you buying their wine.
No, this week is for everybody that enjoys a glass of wine and is interested in learning more about the Beaujolais. If you do already know a bit of Beaujolais, there is always more to find out.
The winemakers that we will visit speak English. You do not need to speak French to participate.
Yes, you can. On the basis of availability you can book extra nights with a 10% discount.

If necessary, this can be a ‘corona proof’ week. If we need to cancel this week due to Covid-19, all bookings will be 100% refunded.
There will enough time to relax and discover Beaujolais on your own schedule.
Yes, you are very welcome to come by yourself and meet new people here. There is single-person fee of EUR 150.
